Concerns/ComplaintsYour input as an IUPUI student is important to the IUPUI Community. If there are concerns you would like to share, we are hopeful this information will get you headed in the right direction. Academic Concerns: If you would like to share an experience, feedback, concerns about issues related to your academic program (requirements, curriculum, faculty, advisors, academic policy, etc.) please contact the Dean of Students. The mission of the Office of the Dean of Students is to support IUPUI’s educational mission and goals by maintaining a campus community conducive to a positive learning environment. The services offered are developed to protect the rights of all students to learn without interference, to provide interventions for resolving conflict, and to enable students to achieve success in their intellectual and personal development. Student Service Office Concerns: If you would like to share an experience, feedback, concerns about issues related to Student Services (Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Bursar, Scholarships, Parking, Bookstore) please contact the individual office either by email, or by calling the director or a senior member of the administrative staff. This is the most efficient way to share your input and provide the opportunity for understanding, collaboration and potential improvement. If you are unable to find the appropriate contact, the Campus Operator is available at (317) 274-5555.
Other Concerns and/or Assistance: The Student Advocate provides objective, impartial and confidential assistance to students, faculty and parents in situations involving students. Anyone who has a student–related question, complaint, conflict or general concern may contact the Student Advocate Office as an initial, neutral, and confidential first step toward resolution. Student Complaint Procedures - Indiana University has established procedures for students to follow when they believe that any of their rights have been violated by a member of the university community. |
