Diploma Distribution |
| Diplomas for students who have graduated from IUPUI are distributed by the school or division from which you graduated. A number of schools for the May graduation distribute diplomas as part of the commencement ceremonies. Other schools distribute diplomas sometime after the ceremonies. Check with your school on the method of distribution. For Fall (December) and Summer (June/August) diplomas distribution check with your school. If you did not receive your diploma as part of the commencement ceremony in May or you are a Summer or Fall graduate, your diploma will be held for distribution by your school for one year from your degree conferral date. Check with your school on the method of distribution. If you did not receive your diploma due to a financial hold, your diploma is held by the Office of the Registrar. Once you have made payment or arrangements with the Office of the Bursar to clear the hold, check with the Office of the Registrar for diploma distribution. One year from your degree conferral date undistributed diplomas are returned to the Office of the Registrar. In-Person Pickup You may pick up your diploma in person at no charge at the Office of the Registrar, Campus Center, Suite 250. Please bring positive identification with you when requesting your diploma. If you are sending someone else to pick up the diploma be sure to provide them with your full name at graduation, 10-digit University ID number and/or last four digits of your social security number, and a written authorization to receive your diploma. Mail or Fax If it is more convenient, you may ask that your diploma be mailed. There is a $10.00 charge for mailing your diploma. Send a letter with the following information:
