                 PRIMARY GOAL OF THIS COURSE IS TO EMPOWER ENTRY-LEVEL
                 HEALTHCARE AND LIBERAL ARTS MAJORS WITH ENOUGH UNDERSTANDING
                 OF THE COMPLEX FINANCING, INSURANCE, PAYMENT, AND CARE
                 DELIVERY ISSUES TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE ESCALATING
                 HEALTHCARE REFORM DEBATE. EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON CRITICAL
                 THINKING SKILLS, INTERACTIVE TEAM LEARNING, AND BIG PICTURE
                 POLICY ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS.
                 AS PART OF THE EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING REQUIREMENT OF THIS
                 CLASS, STUDENTS WILL ENGAGE IN AN ORGANIZED COMMUNITY SERVICE
